The U.S. Coast Guard has responded to several incidents so far this summer, including the rescue of 4 people and a dog from a sinking ship off of Sanibel Island. The summer is busy for boaters and with an already active hurricane season, the Coast Guard is urging people to use caution and stay safe while on the water.
