 The Great Lakes are experiencing bitterly cold air this week, as a cold front settles across the country. Video from Thursday morning shows thick walls of icicles covering the railings of a pier in St. Joseph, Michigan, along Lake Michigan. ST.JOSEPH, Mich.– Video from a pier along Lake Michigan on Thursday morning showed thick coats of ice along the railings caused by an arctic blast of air dropping temperatures across the U.S.
