A significant change in the weather pattern over the eastern U.S. will bring an early winter preview to more than 200 million Americans. A dip in the polar jet stream will usher arctic air from Canada beginning Sunday. High temperatures are expected to run 10–20 degrees below average from Sunday through Tuesday for the Upper Midwest, Ohio Valley and Northeast, with cooler temperatures even reaching parts of the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
An early winter preview is forecast for the Upper Midwest[1], the Ohio[2] Valley and the Northeast[3] next week, as a strong dip in the polar jet stream[4] is expected to plunge temperatures anywhere from 10-20 degrees below average for more than 200 million
